The 16th fairway was in process of being cut, but noticed immediately, daisies hadnt been cut & removed, merely rolled over & sprang back up again ! (Very handy at times). The main issue was the greens appeared to have been top dressed and were almost impossible to read. Course had been closed a few days beforehand due to heavy rainfall so expected it to be wet in places which it was. Played 3 ball and hired clubs they looked brand new Ping g400, set off into the hilly course not for the faint hearted. A very enjoyable round. The holes are all different and it would be a challenging course for all standards of play. First time playing Keswick, had booked on-line before hand which was easy enough. We will certainly play this course again in the future. However I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course, particularly when the Pro informed me they had been relying on volunteers.
