ANY reputable company and/or opportunity should easily stand on its own merits and not have to resort (pun intended) to boiler room tactics. We had decided together that we wouldnt buy anything, but, like so many others, we fell for the excellent sales techniques, including some pretty convincing looking math. The threat of taking the conflict to an American court and causing problems with the credit card company seems to be the way to get them to honor their refund terms. Its just not worth it for me. I called and cancelled on the 19th of December and these horrible so called professionals still penalized us. However, all of the same problems mentioned above remained. So now I spend time every two weeks explaining that I, in fact, do not have a timeshare to sell. Everything promised was a complete fabrication and the their website is the most confusing cumbersome website I have ever used. We got a confirmation the next day that the email was received and had been forwarded to the appropriate department and someone would be in touch in 48-72 hours. Also, the RCI component was a big factor for us because we felt like we could recoup our investment by using the stateside travel benefits that were described. Notify me of follow-up comments by email. No time was given to me to discuss the offer with my family and I was not informed that there is a 3 days cancellation possibility. Each time I book or make a payment, in fact, anytime I connect with UVC its never a pleasant experience. This is a scam. We missed a lot they do expire.
